How I got 5k views on Reddit

I built a free tool for generating...wait for it, ideas for Free Tools. It's a "GPT wrapper with a Tailwind front end" that gives you ideas of what free tools to build as lead magnets to drive traffic to your paid products. On Reddit I asked people to give a description of their product and I was going to come up with ideas of what free tools they could build. The results were surprisingly positive, with many people submitting their products I even stopped replying.

I guess the takeaway here is that try to see what you could offer people to get the most engagement if you do not have a compelling story to tell or a product with a wow factor. Maybe you could build a free tool and offer to help your target audience for free, I have seen a few designers offer free "Roast my landing page" to maybe gain leads or some authority.

P.S. Today, I launched my first pivot. But that's a story for another day. I launched offerthis.co to help businesses find people to make TikTok videos for them. It is free to list your job. Just give a description of the video you need created, say how much you're willing to pay for it, and TikTokers will reply to you if interested. Since it's a marketplace, I am currently building the supply side, so if you need a video created please sign up.
