How I got my first 100 waitlist signups in 48 hours (No Ads)

I see a lot of people asking about "Day 1" marketing, so I wanted to share exactly what worked for me this week. No fluff, just the breakdown.

The Stack:

Landing Page: [Tool, e.g., Framer/Carrd]

Outreach: Cold DMs + Reddit

Cost: $0

The Strategy: I didn't post "Check out my product."

Instead, I found 5 subreddits where people were complaining about [The Problem I Solve]. I replied to comments from 6 months ago saying: "Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm building a tiny tool to handle exactly this."

The Numbers:

50 DMs sent

12 signups directly from DMs

88 signups from the organic traffic those comments generated

It’s unscalable and boring, but it works.

I’m happy to share the exact DM script I used in the comments if anyone is interested. 👇
