How I got my first few clients.

Want to share how I went from 0 clients to getting 3 clients in less than 2 hours.

First of all, let me do a short introduction: I'm Lowk, a solo UX designer at ghostdesigns.co, and I struggled to get clients at the beginning of my journey.

I went to X/Twitter and built a list of people I wanted to engage with, mainly designers, solopreneurs, and indie developers.

I started commenting on their posts and got noticed by a few people. Then, I sent a DM to a guy with 50k followers, offering to do a free design for him.

I did the design, and he tweeted about it. The post reached 200 likes, and some people reached out to me, asking for work. I closed some of them, resulting in getting 3 clients in less than 2 hours.

PD: I could have had more clients if I had better sales skills 😅

Step by step to replicate this process:

1. Build a list of people in your niche (20-30 people).
2. Engage a bit with them.
3. Reach out to them, it can be on the same day (Look for the biggest audience).
4. Ask for a free design or whatever your service is.
