I've been building a newsletter called Unheard Roots where I share the stories & strategies behind the early days of game-changing startups.
A couple of hours ago I hit 300 subs (within like 38~ days).
Just wanted to hop on here to share a strategy that has worked really well for me.
And that strategy is... 🥁
Sharing case studies & snippets of my stories on Reddit.
Here are some examples:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/13lckvx/how_youtube_almost_didnt_become_a_thing/
These posts have been super effective at generating subs for me.
I will say this tho, for every success I had several flopped posts.
Don't expect all of your posts to go viral, if you go into my profile you will see plenty of posts that did horribly.
The trick is to keep testing, learning, and adjusting. Oh and don't forget to find relevant subreddits and make relevant posts.
Btw feel free to subscribe to Unheard Roots if you'd like to support a fellow 16 year old Indie Hacker :)
Just subscribed Neo, keep pushing, and don't mind the unnecessary hate on Reddit. You're definitely on the right way!
