I'm an indie developer building a mobile app to help people build good habits—consistently and with as little friction as possible.
What led me to build this app was hitting a wall myself.
About 6 months ago, I started my solo founder journey.
The first two months were great—I was energized and productive.
But by month three, things started slipping. I was getting distracted, procrastinating, stuck in my own head.
I tried everything I could to get back on my feet:
I realized: unless actions become automatic, it’s hard to keep going in the long run.
It took me about two months to rebuild a solid daily rhythm.
These small habit tweaks had a huge impact—more focus, more clarity, way better output.
Now I’m turning that low-friction, sustainable, anti-procrastination system into a simple, practical app.
No fluff, no hype—just one clear goal: make consistency easier.
Still in early development—open to feedback, ideas, or just chats.

The shift from willpower to systems is the real insight here. I'm the founder of FounderFlow, built for people running more than one business. The biggest lift for me wasn't habits, it was not having to decide every morning which business needed me first. Curious if your app tackles the deciding part too, or mostly the sticking with it part once you've already decided.
Low friction is definitely the key as changing habits is really hard to do. Using something that helps without overwhelm is the right game plan.
I’ve just finished a beta version. If you’d like to try it out, here’s the link: PrioTime.App. I’d really appreciate any feedback.
Which habit worked out the best to stay regular? I have the same problem

Spot on! This low-friction approach with small, consistent steps is what actually works - whether building habits or products. We're applying the same philosophy with Accio (procurement AI), focusing on those incremental optimizations that make daily workflows smoother. Excited to see your progress!

Love the “shift from willpower to systems” mindset — that’s where lasting change really happens. Excited to see how you turn that into an app.

What are you building? How did you handle it. Is this a rage bait post for upvote or?

That is great ! And I agree building systems instead of simply setting goals is a productivity multiplier . I too am interested in productivity so I can relate to your post quite well. Looking forward to see the wonderful app you are building !

Do you have a prototype yet? I've been building https://www.meettoad.co.uk/ as a bit of antidote to overly complex organisational apps
hey this looks interesting but I think you'd benefit from giving more detail ahead of creating an account - find it hard to justify without knowing what it is :D
Hey paceopposite - are you saying that you struggle to understand how Toad works / what it does from the landing page?

Fair enough, best of luck with your next endeavour.
Thank you! Wishing you the best with Meettoad as well — looks like a great concept.
You're welcome to join the beta if you fancy at meettoad.co.uk - would love to hear your views and you can create some useful templates to manage your next project
