How I juggle all the entrepreneurial balls in the air (a bit) more effectively

My way to manage the complexity of an entrepreneurial lifestyle

Being a solo-entrepreneur has its own set of challenges. For me, I would say that it's mainly hard to juggle all the balls in the air while keeping mental and physical stuff in check. Having a proper amount of sleep, building a product with hands, while creating content online, doing the research, youtube, AND doing the marketing, gym, family, cooking... Someday I would delegate parts of that, but not now. Now is the Grand Grind Time. :)

Still, the desire to maintain a balanced life is strong. In this post, I really want to share a small practical tip I use to keep going stronger.

And what I will talk about is called ... mottos.

Motto — a short sentence or phrase chosen as encapsulating the beliefs or ideals of an individual, family, or institution.

Basically, I am talking about personal slogans I have an emotional and rational connection to. And I have a habit of using them contextually.

My best example is my morning routine. My morning motto is this:

Mornings are about the momentum.

Or

Morning? Momentum!

This phrase holds in itself my intention. For me, mornings are about building inner momentum, shaking up the nervous system, about speeding things up, about turning my body and brain «on». And so-on, so-on. All of that is encapsulated in my motto. And it acts as a trigger and as a powerful reminder.

The opposite motto is about the evening:

Evening? Shutdown, please.

Here is a list of some there are mottos. This is a work-in-progress list. Some will go away with time, some are extremely important for me and I believe to stay with me for a long, long time.

  • Live a day as it is a story.
  • Be right AND be practical
  • Build habits in order to preserve energy and unleash freedom
  • Build habits to have predictability
  • The choice is good. Choosing is NOT.
  • Connections are the key.
  • Differentiate «Actual» & «Important»
  • Document over create
  • Don't look for a better tool, seek for a better brain
  • Each step you take tells you what the next step you need.
  • Hence'n'Repeat
  • Ideas. Making.
  • Invent the existing
  • Less consumption. More production.
  • Move fast
  • Move faster.

Finding myself in some context I can apply a motto to brings up the intention. And the intention is a damn-powerful thing.

That is my way. After reading this post you might have found out that you also have some mottos. Share them. if that something that you're up too.

Cheers.

P.P.S. If any of my mottos speaks to you — let's discuss, let's connect I'm so open to tuning with like-minded people.

P.S. I have a blog, youtube channel, twitter & questions. :)
