How I lost a $220k/year business in 30 seconds [true story]

Yes, you read that right.

Let me explain...

What happened?

I've been building Vettted.com while simultaneously working on another marketplace to finance it.

I was one of the founding members of that 'other' site back in 2018 when it first launched, and am now kicked out.

I already knew that eventually I'd be banned, as I'd have to leverage my current clients and transfer them to Vettted.com

It still hurt, and I need to be fast in my next steps.

Build a personal brand. Don't rely solely on the marketplace (or any "one" source)

That's also what Vettted pushes for.

Because I was somewhat smart enough to have built a personal brand, as soon as I was banned, I was able to leverage it.

The people you know (i.e. your network) are so much more valuable that any stream of income.

What I mean by this is that, yes, I lost a $200k/year business in seconds....but not internally.

Because now I can funnel all the people (or at least some of them) to my platform.

I have these people's emails, I have them all in a Facebook group. Thanks to the brand I've built.
