How I’m building a gaming influencer agency from Spain (and what’s actually working in 2026)

I’ve been building SocialPro, a talent management and influencer marketing agency focused on gaming, esports and iGaming.

Over the past months, I’ve started to see a clear shift in how brands approach influencer marketing — especially in gaming.

Here are a few things I’m noticing from real campaigns:

Smaller creators (500–2k viewers) often outperform larger ones in terms of conversions
Long-term collaborations work much better than one-off campaigns
Most brands still focus too much on impressions instead of actual results

Right now, we’re working mainly across Europe and LATAM, helping brands connect with high-performing creators in niches like CS2 and Valorant.

I’m also experimenting with:

Building visibility through press releases and directories
Improving SEO for our agency site
Expanding into new markets like India and Japan

One thing I’m still figuring out:

👉 How to scale client acquisition without relying too much on outbound

If anyone here has experience growing an agency or marketplace in this space, I’d love to hear what worked for you.
