How I made $1256 in 24 hours with my indie project

The Product in question was soft launched in January but failed to gain much traction. I made no sales at all. In February I decided to go live on product hunt. I tweeted about it and made a few sales.

A few hours later, I tweeted how Product Hunt made me a few hundred dollars and this tweet changed everything.
People apparently enjoy seeing posts about money, so the tweet received a lot of attention, and Product Hunt retweeted it to their 600k+ followers.

Sales began pouring in right and left at this point, and by the next morning everything had sold out
So, what's the moral of the story? People like reading about money.

Ps:Also attach stripe revenue charts to your tweets, people like those.
