Yeah, the title is important and the entire presentation, but did you do any pre-launch networking, newsletter building, etc? I am thinking of launching on ProductHunt once we hit 5 customers and I need all the pointers I can get.
We just got our first customer the other day. Felt pretty good, to be honest :)
Im actually had 150 users before the launch but at the moment it didn't helped.
I posted on credit and got 100 upvotes
and shared with all my Linkedin friends.
I guess i could have done it better though.
I am currently thinking of purchasing the Ship package that actually promotes the Product on the ProductHunt page, but I couldn't find any review if it is worth buying that promo package or not.
I guess it is all up to what the product does and the target audience in many cases.
I never used the Ship feature.
There are many great tutorials on the web about how to successfully launch on product hunt.
