How I restarted everything after my failure
It was in 2019 I started my side hustle. I spent almost 8 months developing a SAAS application. This application is meant for social media automatic posting and auto-responding. My marketing plan was nothing but to sell it on an LTD website where a number of the affiliate marketer is available. I have created a landing page with around 5000 words and a lot of screenshots.
But unfortunately, there was no sale at all. Then my mind was blank. I left that side hustle. I canceled the hosting.
I took a break. Then I read many books. For so many months, I was doing nothing for my side hustle. I did a postmortem of my failure. How did I fail? I realize that there are tons of auto-responding and social posting kinda applications available in the market but I have to create different ones.
Then I researched it and found that content is always king. Provide content consistently is the key. I restarted everything. I purchased VPS hosting.
I learned so many things from indie hackers and the books I read.
This time it took only one month to modify the application and make it ready. I myself used and provide service to some clients using this marketing application. I am now able to schedule social media posts along with content. Setup auto-responding such as auto commenting, a chatbot to the posts, email, and SMS marketing. Every time the posts earned so many clicks to the client's website. My plan is to launch on more and more platforms and every social media. If one fails I will look into another.
