How I run my blog using Notion
I just created a blog for my app using Feather.so
It's a tool that lets you use Notion as your CMS to create your whole blog.
It was super easy to set up. I really love the clean design ♥
All my blog content is now managed directly from Notion! I can just edit the Notion document or add a new post directly in Notion and my website blog gets updated.
With this kind of approach, there is less flexibility to customize the blog, but the benefits are a nice, clean, opinionated design that's very easy to set up and simple to manage.

Seems to me this Notion based cms is not optimized for SEO, did you check that?
Sitemap was just submitted, so I think it’s just taking some time to be indexed.

When you say "flexibility to customize the blog" what do you mean?
At the moment the style can only be changed with CSS. But more design options and theme support are coming soon...
That's interesting ! I thought cloakist did the same? why did you chose this tool, is it so you don't have to mess with css/js to get good looking site with notion and cloakist?
Sotion is dedicated to Notion. It allows you to have a custom domain for your Notion page, add Password Protection or Email Sign Up, and inject custom CSS+JS.
Cloakist does the same for other platforms like:
But Cloakist does not have Password Protection or Email Sign Ups. This is only available for Notion pages.
How do you deal with the platform lock-in for business continuity?
If your Notion account was closed or something happened to your data, do you have a way for the content to be backed up periodically?
This is not really a Sotion for Feather problem. But would apply to ANY content you may have in Notion. I suppose you could regularly export/back up your Notion content if lock-in is a big concern for you.

Thanks for the post Bruce, I've been considering a Notion-based site and blog so it's good to hear you've had a positive experience so far. Besides the CSS limitations, are there any other downsides you've stumbled on?
