Could you talk a little bit about your steps BEFORE the 8 weeks where you created the product? did you somehow validate your idea? Or was this done maily through your content marketing and HN?
I was sort of my own best customer. My previous startup sold a messaging server to large enterprises and provided consultancy on how to integrate it and what the infrastructure around it should look like. We've constantly used tools like draw.io for diagrams to communicate these ideas.
But once the suggested infrastructure was deployed, there still was a need to monitor it and to track changes. I've always wanted to have a tool that just showed you a sort off map of things running in your cloud and how they were doing - but there wasn't one. So I mostly scratched my own itch with Arcentry.
