How I stopped going dark on social during busy sprints (the actual system, not 'just be consistent')

'Just be consistent' is the worst advice for solo founders. You're not inconsistent because you lack discipline. You're inconsistent because posting feels like a second job on top of your real work.

Here's the system I landed on after a lot of trial and error:

  1. Decouple creation from publishing.
Write in batches when you have energy (usually Sunday morning). Let a scheduler handle the rest. Never make "what do I post today" a daily decision.

  2. Use your own voice as the source material.
The reason AI content feels off is that it's trained on everyone else's writing. I trained mine on my own posts. Then the drafts actually sound like me. Followers haven't noticed the shift, they've just noticed I'm showing up more.

  3. Treat replies as a separate session.
Engagement and creation are different tasks. I do replies in a focused 20-minute block, not scattered throughout the day.

I built XreplyAI to systematize steps 1 and 2. It generates posts from your voice profile and handles scheduling across platforms. But honestly, even just separating creation from publishing (step 1) will make a noticeable difference.

Happy to share more about what's worked if anyone's wrestling with the same thing.
