How I vibe coded 'Content Manor : Content for Humans by Humans'

Vibe Coding is real, it seems. Here's why.

Presenting - Content Manor: [Content for humans by humans].

I'd mentioned in one of my previous posts that I was working on a project. Well, today I introduce it to you. Meet Content Manor. A place where you can share your sincerely written content and reach the right folks.

What is this all about?
I wanted to create a forum where marketing articles written by sheer hard work and the expertise of humans can get the light of the day.

I know firsthand that it is a pain to write something amazing, for it to fizzle out without even a glance from anyone especially if you are doing it as a brand.

With AI Overviews starting to kill the search traffic and whatever semblance of meritocracy was there in content listing, I was looking for a place that rewarded good content and punished bad ones, ill-written AI ones that ChatGPT can regurgitate.

This HackerNews-style forum– for those marketers who are tired of reading BS, fluff, and AI-vomit for their research– is my li'l contribution to solve this huge problem.

But how do I ensure the quality of the content?

🌸 Personal Vetting: I'm personally curating the initial batch of content. (Also, looking for enthusiasts to join as content raters.)
🌼 Community Engagement: User upvotes and AI content reporting mechanisms are being used to rank and rate content.
🌺 Algorithmic Analysis: I am also developing semantic and similarity approaches to algorithmically assess content value. (WIP)

What's Next?
A feature for listing of newsletters. This will provide a new avenue for your content to reach a wider audience.

And a search engine. (Shhh.)
This will help you find the right human content for the things you need.

I know, it's not the best version or not the most ready. But I think, it never will be.

During this time of developing this, I sought to work with partner or get help which wasn't very forthcoming at times. There were issues that came up which I couldn't fix or features, I wasn't able to build over the limited time.

One thing I have realised, if you need to jump off the cliff, you need to jump off the cliff.

Waiting for features, tools, partners, days or anything else, is just building dependencies that hold you back, sometimes.

I have coded this using AI tools over a period of 2-3 weeks, so you will find lots of issues. Would love it if you report or share it in the comments.

So folks, do let me know what you think as I vibe code this in public.

Looking forward to your feedback and ideas. (Yes, tell me more ideas, eager to implement.)

Also, please submit your posts and share it with your network. Let's build our own content distribution.
