⚡️How I went from a HS side project to raising over a $500k in funding 🤑....

I recently told the story of how I was doing social media management here. I will keep it short this time.

Right before the pandemic a local business and realtor needed help getting their digital presence up to date. So, I decided to take on the tasks and charged a few hundreds bucks (knowing it would take no more than an hour a week). It was going well and I learned how to optimize the freelancing side with tools and automations so I decided to grow.

I turned the basic services into a productized model and very quickly started generating $12k a month. It would have took a lot of management but I knew from a larger perspective how to keep it simple with tools and steps.

I knew I should focus on 3 main steps:

Onboarding a client
Running a project in one place
Optimizing the business model for maximum revenue

For a single individual and a some powerful tools this could be done. But there were still hours a week maintaining tools, hundreds of dollars of lost profit, and clients having to keep up with what we ran the business with (stripe, memeberstack, docusign, trello, slack, etc..).

That is when we I decided to start Puzzl (https://www.puzzlapps.com). We got up and running with a private alpha in a couple months and then raised our pre-seed. We are hiring and back to the ground building.
