How long did it take for you to get your 1st newsletter subscriber?

Got 56 subscribers on my first day. (Hadn’t even sent out first issue yet)

I got the first couple dozen subscribers within days of announcing my newsletter. It was easy as I leveraged my network of friends, acquaintances, and Twitter followers.

Then I got stuck around 50 for months. Now it seems the subscriber count is slowly growing again.

Forced my girlfriend, my sisters and her friends to sign up.

I will never forget writing like I was writing to a 100 people but it was only 3.

And it took more to build the sign up than get a subscriber...

I didn't know back end and I connected a form to firebase with a script... it was fun.

Now I am up to 1.4k which is fine.

First subscriber was my fiance. My biggest supporter.

Who was yours?
