by
Wyatt Feaster
How long did it take to get your mvp live from the idea to becoming real? 1,2,6 months?

Day 6 - Slow days as a solo founder

There are a couple of factors in how long it takes to get a prototype out
ii. The type of apps you are making such as web, or mobile can also contribute to the time and capital invested.
iii. Just a landing page and a link to your prototype can be done in a few days or weeks assuming that there is no user management and pricing involved.
iv. The type of tools you use can make things significantly different. You can potentially use no-code/low-code platforms to progress faster.
There are many more factors than just the above five factors. But, happy to connect and share more details.
I launch my saas in 1 months from the idea to the mvp
Nice! Was this all self developed?
It depends on the idea, and if anything you should try and focussing on selling the idea to someone who's going to pay you to build it and provide a service to them. I did this for my company predotdev where we first spoke to freelance agencies to understand their problem (which we found was the process of client onboarding and project scoping), and then went and actually built the product (took about a month)
Thats helpful! Ya I have been talking to target customers and have gotten buy-in from a bunch of people with prelaunch signups.
Roughly 3 months but to move fast, builders should cut down to 1-2 months.
Mine is similar. I have been going for right around 3 months not, but I am a non technical founder. I come from the UX/UI design field so have been having to work with a dev that is responsive for the most part but then will go dark for like 2 weeks from time to time.
My current side SaaS took me about 5 months of serious work, 2-3 hours, 5 days a week. I’ve been iterating on the idea for many years though with several iterations that I were mostly baked but didn’t hit the mark.
Hey!
30 months here. I know that's not how things should be done :)
I didn't really spent much time on it as it started as a small side-project, but it went too far - now I have a goal to turn it into a profitable business
It should take no more than 3 weeks. Talking only about from concept to MVP launch
The timeframe for MVP development at Kick-start varies, typically ranging from 5 to 15 weeks. It greatly depends on whether you have already validated your idea. Prior to launching an MVP, consider conducting a Proof of Concept (PoC) for testing the most crucial features and making necessary adjustments.
It took me around 3 months to launch my first Saas product successfully and just 2 month to get my website rank in top 20 on Google.
I built my recent product FocuSee from idea to launch in 3 months
Ant got my first 10 paid users within 7 days after launch, not bad 😉
That’s awesome! I’m in the final stages of emailemu.com launching but have had several delays in development.
Are you a technical founder? What do you think helped you get those first 10 paying users?
1 month max. But before mvp it self I already make like a mock product where user can come and test it out and leave email if interested ( on of it currently is creativeblogtopic.com ). Basically I will promote this mock product ,write blog post about it etc , so people can have some understanding of the product and signup if interested.
So like a prelaunch kind of approach? Are you a technical founder or do you hire outside help?
Hi Wyatt! It took us 2 months from concept to soft launch of http://olympia.chat. My co-founder is the Chief Scientist, and he had to code like almost 24/7 tho hehe, but he was super excited to do it!
That’s good to know! Have you guys gotten paying customers yet? How long after launch did you obtain them?
