How long do you think it will be before AI creates the next billion-dollar startup?

There are so many ideas that I see openAI (ChatGPT etc.) coming up with lately that are unique/new which makes me wonder how long it will be before a human announces that they made a billion or even a million-dollar startup off the back of either a ChatGPT recommendation or with help from AI in some shape or form. My guess is it will happen within the next 12-24 months. What do you think?

I think we are closer to it.

Would be in 12 months if the market were frothy, but most likely > 12 months given the downturn

It won't be long that is for sure!

Probably there are already few under the radar, we just need to wait and see once they go out in public...

It already has. Look at OpenAI.

Jasper is getting there as well.

I guess that time is not too far.. Within a year, we might witness an AI takeover and probably see someone making billions from it!

The question may be in the future, who the money belongs to then. If AI ever has consciousness or is given 'rights' of any sort then surely it could make a claim that it was their idea. I know this isn't what you asked but it will be something we'll probably be faced with in the future. The machines fighting back . . .

The race is on. I'm sure someone right now is creating a startup based on a ChatGPT recommendation and we'll probably see it go viral within the next 6 months.

      Lol, nice ChatGPT post.

No shame though, I've done it before too, though I notice it gives shallow responses.

There should be a report button for those ChatGPT spam posts. They add little value and they're detrimental to the actual human conversation.

Can't you just report for normal spam? Low quality posts in high volume in general are spam, right?

Ah, you are right. I didn't know you could. Seems like it's even possible to enter a custom report tag.
