How long until you got your first paid user?
So I just released Coparrot today, a no-install and no-config mock server for mobile and web developers.
I have reached out to some friends and community and also released in Product Hunt.
I just wonder when any of you started your project, how long until you got your first paid user after releasing it?
I was in a very tough market with huge competitors.
I recommend reading what others have done on IH interviews. The Product hunt launch already broke some rules (never launch without the ability to get 25-50 upvotes first 60 minutes).
I caution you to take what people say with a pinch of salt.
When people say weeks or days, they're most likely undercounting the amount of time when they researched, built the MVP, learned to code, etc. etc.
For Zlappo, it took me well over a year to get my first paying customer.
