How many customers should I reach out to before I decide to call it quits?

I have been building a customizable subscription portal for Small and Medium ECommerce stores. I reached out to 20 odd potential customers out of which 2 replied and both of them told me that customizable subscription isn't something that they are currently looking for.

Should I continue reaching out to more potential customers (maybe 30 more) or should I move to another product?

I would keep going. Don’t feel defeated. There isn’t a magic number, but for me I would keep going.

For those that say not interested, maybe ask for more information. Ask if you had X feature would they reconsider or if they think they would ever be interested in a service like this. Maybe also ask about pricing, if they were priced at X.XX, would it be more intriguing for them.

      That's a great idea. I'll implement that.

Also, would you know of resources that would help me with strategies to onboard my first 10 customers?
