How many founders out there are nontechnical and had to hire someone to build the product?
I'm wondering how many people imagine and design a product, but hand off the building to developers.
Has anyone done this?
What was your experience?
Should every founder learn to code or use no-code, or can you get by just being the fount of ideas?

I'm not a dev, I'm a marketer, and when I decided to get into SaaS a couple of years ago, I didn't even know no-code existed, so I just hired a developer to create my products. katlinks.io is one of my most recent projects.
I have thought about getting into no-code, but because of the learning curve, I always put it off and just have my developer build my stuff.
It really depends on the complexity of your product. I've talked to a lot of people that hired a dev team to build what a no-code builder could do. If you're building a marketplace or platform, that's when you really have to ask yourself what essential features you're looking to build that aren't offered in out-of-the-box offerings.
For my current startup, I partnered with 2 friends. One is a Product Manager, another a backend dev. We've hired Frontend and UX to get the project moving forward. We're now in our MVP and Pilot Phase, currently working with one client towards revenue.
