How many of you are career-move coders?

I'm curious... i see a lot of job ads asking for CompSci grads and i hear a lot about whiteboard interviews and FE Devs getting asked about algo's etc

My experience has been that day-to-day...after 2 or so years of working on production releases, in commercial teams - FE Developers are indistinguishable whether they're CompSci or not.

My experience has also been that self taught, career move types seem to enjoy their jobs more than the seasoned IT dudes who have been in the game for 15 or 20 years.

This is literally just my experience, and it could be a tad biased given that i am self taught myself. So obviously i want to believe that self taught devs are happier / enjoy their roles more! lol.
