How many people do you follow on Twitter?

Before posting your "Following" number from your profile think again: do you really follow all those people?

I would say that I actually follow maybe around 100 people. There are a couple of Twitter Lists which I follow closely + some folks from the same time zone I regularly bump into (I only use the chronological timeline on Twitter).

So, who are those other 800+ people I officially follow then? After all, I did follow them at some point because of their Tweets, profiles etc.

I feel like a lot of opportunities are being missed every day because we just can't keep up.
