💸 How much did you make on Black Friday?
Last year I did some dumb kinda "reverse black friday" where I rose my prices for my job board. Didn't make a dime.
This year I had lots of info products to sell on Gumroad as well as affiliate links from people I've interviewed on No CS Degree.
The combination of those to meant I made $2,000 in one week, including newsletter ad spots that I sold to other makers promoting their products.

In answer to your Q. The Black Friday period is always massive for us, we added as much MRR in October + November as we did for the rest of the year combined.
Some of that is down to the holiday season meaning that there's more of a need for an email marketing platform and some of that is down to the promotions we run.

October in our case can probably be partly attributed to some legacy pricing changes we made, however acquisition the last week was also really strong.
This year, Black Friday (at least in terms of emails our customers were sending) seems to have been more of a month long event than a single day.

Divjoy did $2,436 in sales that week, almost entirely from my Black Friday announcement on Twitter. Would have been a really slow week otherwise, so happy I decided to do a deal at the last minute.

Thanks. It happened beforer the video, it was a friend who noticed a Black Friday promotion I mentioned on my newsletter.
