How much did your landing page cost?
I’d love to hear exact numbers but in case you’re uncomfortable providing that, voting in the range is great as well.
If you can it’d also be great to hear exactly what you paid for. Did you just buy a pre-made theme and do the rest yourself? Hire a copywriter? Get a custom page designed?

Even though we built the landing pages ourselves, it cost us OUR OWN hours of work - prototyping, checking the UX/UI with the respondents and then building the real page. So that's around 40 hours of work!
Interesting, you're one of the first people here, I think, who acknowledged the massive amount of effort that goes into doing it yourself.

Technically I built it myself so zero, but I did pay $250 for Tailwind UI to get components for it..
Interesting, haha. Once you have tailwindui every time you build a new landing page the cost is split again. Plus, of course, it also dramatically cuts down on your application development time so you can't really price that either, haha.
Love tailwindcss but haven't found a great reason to get tailwind ui yet (aside from supporting Adam and Steve which I'll for sure do when I can afford it).
CSS has always been my weak point. I have good eye for design and can come up with good stuff, but implementing it was bad. Tailwind changed all that.
The price tag for UI was a no brainer. I've actually paid 3 times for it. Bought it for myself, a copy for a friend, and a copy to give away.
Mine was completly free, build by myself, but running this thing and doing ads cost me a fortune haha (we'll it cost me around 50$ a month)
If you are comfortable with learning a bit of code, you can easily start a Gatsby template, create a private Github repository and host it for free with Netlify on a custom domain.
Gatsby Template + Github + Netlify = £0
P.S. Gatsby isn't the easiest way to start, but is v. fast and extensible. Next.js is also a great alternative. Or if you want no-code try Webflow (but you can't add a custom domain for free).
We've been through a few iterations.
Our first couple were built and 'designed' in house and were sufficient to get us to ~300 customers. Our current iteration cost around $2000 to get a designer to create it. And the new version we are launching in a month or so is a much bigger project and will probably cost 10-15 times that.
Copy and development has always been done in-house, it's only the design we've outsourced.
We built it ourselves. It's much easier that way.
