Trying to get a feel for what a 'good' range is for high quality (10X type) content for our blog. Know the value of content marketing to build that strong inbound interest, but curious what others are paying their writers and where you've found them.
I'm using https://postscripting.net/. She's a great writer & editor and has been in the service/SaaS world quite a bit. Her pricing depends on the format you go for. Here's what you can do:
1 is the cheapest. 4 is the most expensive :-). The first option has suited me well because I more or less know what I want to write so I get it on paper and have her go through it and do her magic.
In general, good content doesn't come cheap.
Just an alternative way to do it on a budget:
I pay myself zero to write 😅 and then I send the articles to editors at PenMob.com (from an IHer I met here) for reviews and cleanups. Extra useful for non-native English speakers.
Short reviews cost like $15 and they were pretty useful for me.
(Sadly I haven't published those yet so I can't share the end result, or I would)
10x content is difficult to outsource and tends to be expensive when you do it successfully.
This article cost $250 to produce: https://www.kyleads.com/conversion-rate-optimization-stats
It’s semi interactive.
This one cost $100 to produce: https://www.kyleads.com/roi-calculator
It’s an email marketing roi calculator.
They were cheap.
As far as articles, I write myself because I enjoy it. Your best bet is to get a good in house writer that you can coach.
Depending on the country, that can range between $700-4,000/m. I’ve seen great prospects with masters degrees that charge less than a grand.
The simple truth is your results may vary.

Did you use a service to design the Conversion Rate Optimization States page? It looks really good!
No, I was lucky enough to find a versatile freelancer on Upwork.
They were brand new so were pricing their services pretty low at the time. That's how I was able to get the design for only $250.
The next time they wanted to do one the price doubled yikes

I am using Colin's services at CopyCoyote, at $200 a month and he's doing a stellar job. Roughly two solid articles per month, these are the first two: https://pagestead.com/blog/how-to-plan-a-website-redesign/ and https://pagestead.com/blog/3-reasons-you-should-launch-a-diy-website-builder-for-your-clients/.
This is a great source of info for me. I've been looking around for these as well. I actually just launched my blog and 1st blog post. Did it myself with some proofreading from friends but will probably find a writer down the line as that is not my strenght as it seems.
You can hire a content writer at https://blogrequest.co.
