How much does it actually cost to launch your own super app platform in 2026?

Founders looking into this usually get two kinds of answers: agencies quoting $30,000+ and 12-18 months for a custom build, or vague "contact us for pricing" pages that never state a number.
Here's a direct answer from the builder side. Zipprr sells a white-label super app platform, ride-hailing, food delivery and parcel delivery under one brand, for $490 one-time, with source code included. No subscription, no revenue share. It comes with customer, driver/partner and admin apps, and you can launch under your own brand instead of building from zero.
The real cost difference isn't the software, it's the engineering time you save. A team quoting six figures is mostly charging for months of backend, dispatch logic, and payment integration work that's already built and tested. A white-label platform skips that and gets you to a working, brandable product in days instead of months.
Worth knowing before you commit either way: check whether mobile apps (Android/iOS store submission) are included at that price point, since a lot of "starter" tiers, ours included at the $490 level, only cover web/PWA and reserve native apps for a higher plan. Always confirm what's actually bundled before comparing numbers across vendors.

the honest answer most cost breakdowns skip is how much goes to zero when there's no backend at all. we run swapfile.live (file conversion, all in-browser) on static hosting that costs less than coffee monthly - no servers, no storage, no deletion pipelines. the expensive part was never infra, it was the months of building. what dominated your numbers, build time or running costs?

For us, the build time was definitely the bigger cost. Once the product is built and running, the ongoing infrastructure costs are relatively low. The main investment goes into development, testing, maintenance, and improving the overall user experience.
