How much is a fair commission if I help sell a SAAS business of somebody else?

Hi there

I'm currently trying to sell my former's boss website which I made entirely with the help of Sven gaubert.
Is there some kind of normal commission rate if I find a buyer and help close the deal?

I would love to have your insights on that because he's asking me and I have no idea 😅

    I guess it depends on how much work you need to put in? if you are really selling the SaaS Platform and doing all the work, without salary I would say a big percentage.

    We give 10% of the first-year revenue to anyone who gets us a new client. Mostly that is just an introduction with an endorsement. Sometimes they help land the deal, but most of the time it is not.

    So if you are doing all the work...
