There's ton of resources to read about standard equity compensations for first hires and advisors in usual startups (such as the Holloway Guide).
But how about bootstrapped startups, where we might never get outside investors and don't aim to become a unicorn, just perhaps 6-7 figure business.
The typical 1% advisor compensation might not be attractive to advisors in this case, but also we can't just give tens of percent to everybody.
How do you go about it?
