How much to charge to license software B2B?

My side project sells subscriptions to consumers but I’ve been talking to companies about licensing the technology for them to use. Assuming I work out the technical challenges, how do I figure out how much I should charge?

I’ve thought about flat monthly amounts and by usage but am not sure how to put a number on it.

Try to guesstimate how much value you are adding to the customer and ask for a piece of it. As a rule of thumb ask for more than what you think you are worth, startups always underestimate the value that they add for the fear of tanking the deal.

You can start from 25% off up to 50% or even 75% of your service for a 1:1 subscription resell (higher volumes get higher discounts)

You can do packages based on that potential
