This is interesting. I think startups and product owners would love to have these users at the beginning of their journey. It would be even better if you could help them to find their first 100 “early adopters” so startup could iterate their products based on early user feedback. The first 100 users are very critical as they’ll somehow influence how your product/startup will become in the future.
Such an amazingly hard question to ask. How much do you earn from each customer? if it's $1, I would have a hard time spending $10K to get them.
But if each one brought in $4K (and margins were nice) then it would be an easier sell.
Though a bit more verbose - I would change the question to: What LTV:CAC ratio are you comfortable acquiring customers at?
