The amount someone would pay to showcase their project in front of 8.5k people really depends on your audience quality and engagement, not just the number of people. Some things to consider:

Audience Relevance – If the 8.5k people are highly targeted (e.g., potential customers, industry professionals), the exposure is worth much more than a generic audience.

Platform & Format – Is this a physical event, webinar, or social media post? Costs vary depending on production, promotion, and visibility.

Value of the Project – Consider how much revenue, leads, or impact a successful showcase could bring. Paying more may be justified if the ROI is high.

Market Rates – For niche, highly-engaged audiences, sponsorship or promotion could range anywhere from $200–$2,000+, depending on duration and format.

💡 Tip: Instead of thinking only in terms of reach, calculate cost per engaged person or potential return on investment — that’s often the fairest way to price it.

In short, the price isn’t just about 8.5k people; it’s about how many of them actually matter to your project.
