How my first UK enterprise client became the turning point of my SaaS journey

Intro: The turning point I didn’t expect

A few months ago, something happened that completely changed the trajectory of my SaaS journey.

Not a viral post.
Not funding.
But my first enterprise client in the UK, asking for something I had never planned:

“Can we get unlimited API access to your app for internal automation?”

I didn’t even have a proper API. I built it just for them.
Looking back: it was the best thing that happened to my SaaS this year.

Momentum: How Brandolia changed everything

Before that deal, traction was slow.
Then I launched Brandolia.io, my AI brand identity generator.

And overnight, everything shifted:

  • 300+ new users/day
  • organic growth only
  • people sharing their brand identities everywhere
  • companies discovering my ecosystem through Brandolia

Brandolia didn’t just grow —
it created momentum.
And momentum created credibility.

That credibility is exactly what brought the UK enterprise to me.

The Deal: Unlimited API access

Their request was simple but huge:

“We want your tech inside our system. No limits.”

So I built:

  • a custom API tailored to their workflow
  • unlimited calls
  • automated pipelines
  • stable endpoints for high-volume usage

This one deal changed everything:

  • enterprise-level recurring revenue
  • long-term collaboration
  • a clearer product roadmap
  • confidence to go API-first
  • understanding that enterprises pay for automation, not UI

Lesson Learned: Momentum > Everything

I didn’t land this client because I’m good at sales.
I landed them because Brandolia made the whole project look serious.

One product going viral can lift your entire ecosystem.

Momentum is the most underrated growth engine in indie building.

What’s Next

Now that the first enterprise API deal is behind me, I’m building:

  • a full API dashboard
  • usage-based plans
  • deeper automation features
  • a funnel where Brandolia drives future enterprise clients

If anyone wants insights about the API pricing, negotiation, or structure, happy to share 🙌
