How my new side-project helps Clubhouse speakers with their events

Hey ClubHousers 👋️

As you surely noticed, Clubhouse events aren't overly exciting when shared on social media. So, I have decided to fix this back in January. Together with @jens_marketing, we have built a link shortener with value-optimized sharing images 💪️. This is MVP and we plan to add more features later.

After Matt Navarra tweeted about us and some other influencers shared our URLs, we gained a lot of visibility. Now, Clublink.to is used worldwide 🤯️. Even TechCrunch wrote about us 🤯️

To see if people like the idea I've posted it on ProductHunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/clublink

Maybe you could check it out and leave some feedback. We are listening in ✌️

Congratulations on your launch! Do you have any plan to monetize the platform?

    1. 2

Thank you! As of now there aren't any plans. We solved a need we found - an image alone isn't really worth adding stuff for payments... Maybe there will be sponsorships or premium features - let's see.

What I noticed more than the product was the email collection popup, the flow was smooth and delightful. I've seen hundreds of 'give us your email' forms over the years, and yours was one that the designer in me enjoyed.

And of course, cool product as well :D

Hello @htshnr, you aren't believing how happy I'm about this comment! I'm usually not the best with frontend work and struggle (I think the site shows this). So I'm extra excited to hear you like the smooth flow - it's based on Tailwind and uses TailwindUI.com strongly - in case you are interested to use something similar. Thank you for your comment 😍️

Dude, super helpful product. Will check it out for our clubhouse sessions (with 4 participants 😂

Btw, what's the plan with the project? Have you gotten in touch with the CH guys?

    1. 2

Thanks @qnd! Yeah - especially little events an benefit form it ! Better promotion, more listeners!

We thinking about enhancing the event pages more - to provide the presenters with a platform for their events. No, we actually haven't got in touch. The project was build and launched over the last 2-3 weeks mainly. No time for comms :D

How many people are using it? Or how many page events have been created?

    1. 2

      Hey Rosie,

as of right now, 202 events have been created and 23 users have signed up. Sig up is optional tho - so most users aren't signed up. ✌️
