More than a year ago Lars Richter started SWOP by creating the first version of the app with no-code.
Now he is at the point where he has the knowledge, talent, and money to make a pivot and enter the US market.
I am confident that if he had selected the classic software development approach, he would have been still working on finishing MVP until now 😂.
In this episode of Leverage No-code podcast Lars talks about how he got PMF, the situation with scalability in no-code, plans for 2023 and more.
The podcast is available in the written format and on all podcast platforms.
And remember: always use no-code for early-stage startups.
Sounds really interesting!
Thank you!
Wow amazing and very inspiring as No-Code beginner!
Thanks
Wow this is cool! Really interesting to see what you can build on bubble and other no-code tools. I'm worried about scaling though - I'm thinking of using bubble and zapier's shopify integration to build a shopping app, but Zapier seems way too expensive if I grow to a lot of customers... what should I do?
I'd rather replace Zapier's functionality with Bubble completely. In most cases, it's possible and will save you a lot of money. And also as for the scalability, you can always purchase additional Bubble server units. But you need to get enough users first 😃)
just looked at bubble's integrations, looks like shopify integration is only available through zapier :(
What do you want to achieve with Shopify integration?
i haven't laid down the details yet (besides thinking about making an e-commerce site) - but if I want something like a sales counter, I'd need an integration so that whenever shopify detects a sale, the bubble website should be updated, which could happen a lot at scale
I think Shopify should have webhooks functionality and you can adjust the Bubble app to listen to the events in the Shopify app and each time new sale appears, update the database in Bubble.
Good job!
What $$ has SWOP raised?
Unfortunately it's not public information
Okay, nice content though!
