How often do you build 'essential but non-core' features for your SaaS product?
Do you spend a lot of time and energy building necessary but non-revenue generating features for your product? At Resumey.Pro (my product), we end up doing that!
For e.g. features like login, user profile, dashboard etc. are essential for user flow but not the 'core' USP of your product. They neither contribute to increasing your revenue nor improve the user experience.
Would you use any plugins to handle these features?
I am wondering if 'profile picture management' for indiehackers is a problem worth solving. I'd love your inputs on how you currently manage that particular feature.

A company I used to work for, was acquired for many millions of dollars, they had a hardcoded limit of 500 entries for an SQL query of items list of the main view of an app. No pagination at all, i.e. users could only see the first 500 items, no matter what. That code was there for 2+ years and only was changed after the acquisition.
