Hi there! I have a call to action related question for all landing page lovers out there.
I am building a subscription-based digital product, Apparent, where I offer parents daily short listenings on parent-child relationship. The content is free for now but I will develop it into a freemium model eventually.
I also started a parenting newsletter, The Apparent Letter, which is NOT a marketing newsletter. It's rather a weekly letter where I share a different type of content for free.
How to separate the CTAs for two? Some of my users are already confused about which one to signup.
Should I make a single signup where I let the people use (free parts of) my actual product AND receive my newsletter?
Or should I try to keep them separated? If yes, how?
The solution I have in mind is: have ONE subscription CTA, write a clear terms statement, put people on the newsletter list AND give access to them for the (free parts of) my product. And, in the future, if they are interested, they can convert into paying users.
Does this make sense?
As one of your confused users :D, I would simplify and just have one signup.
Remember, users don't think nearly as much about your product as you do. As far as I am concerned, you are making something that's interesting to me as a parent. So I'm signing up to find out more and maybe use the product.
Haha, yes! I remember your confusion. It was a rightful one. :)
Noted. A single CTA will make everything more relevant you say. To be honest, it's easier for me too.
