When most people think of QR codes, they think of a simple way to open a website. But while building my QR code SaaS, I've realized that businesses are using QR codes in much more strategic ways.
Some examples I've seen:
✅ Product packaging that links customers to setup guides, videos, or support pages.
✅ Restaurants replacing printed menus with digital menus that can be updated instantly.
✅ Business cards that instantly share contact details without manual typing.
✅ Marketing campaigns that track how many people scanned a flyer, poster, or advertisement.
✅ Retail stores using QR codes to collect reviews, offer discounts, or promote loyalty programs.
One interesting challenge is that many businesses print QR codes without considering what happens months later if the destination link changes. Reprinting materials can be expensive, which is why dynamic QR codes and scan analytics have become increasingly important.
I'm curious:
How is your business using QR codes today?
Have QR codes generated measurable results for you?
What QR code features do you find most valuable?
I'd love to hear real-world experiences from other founders and business owners.
