How should SaaS companies be using Google Ads? (Comprehensive Guide 2022)

I found SaaS companies (at least at the beginner stages) mainly use Ads for 3 reasons:

1. They found it's cheap to bid for a keyword (for eg. if you provide a software that enables you to convert TikToks to Reels, you could bid on 'convert tiktok to reel videos')

2. They bid on competitor items (for eg. if you have a keyword research tool, you could bid on "Semrush alternative")

3. They're targeting another, "second-tier" country (not the US/UK/Canada/etc.) where the CPC costs are far lower.

I don't won't give Google more money than they already have. The have single handily ruined the internet.
