How Small Home Design Changes Like Brass Knobs Transform Interior Spaces

Just finished a small home refresh, and it reminded me how much impact small design decisions can have.

I replaced a few cabinet knobs with brass hardware — nothing major, no renovation, no big budget changes — but the space immediately felt more intentional and put together.

It’s interesting how in both product design and home design, the smallest details often carry the most weight.

A subtle change in texture, material, or alignment can completely shift perception without anyone consciously noticing why.

It’s a reminder I keep coming back to:
you don’t always need big changes to create meaningful improvement — sometimes refinement is enough.

Totally agree. It's amazing how such a small swap can shift the whole vibe of a room. I've been looking at matte black handles for my kitchen—any tips on how brass holds up to daily use?
