How SnapBooks became a smarter receipt and expense workflow

SnapBooks started with a simple goal: make receipt tracking less painful for freelancers, small business owners, and professionals.

Many people still keep receipts in WhatsApp chats, emails, paper folders, screenshots, or random photo galleries. Later, when they need tax records, expense reports, or proof of business spending, everything becomes messy and time-consuming.

This update moves SnapBooks beyond basic receipt scanning. Users can now upload PDF receipts and invoices, select multiple files, manage uploads through an Inbox and Processing Queue, review receipts one by one, add private notes, detect duplicates, track recurring charges, and compare spending across previous periods.

The app also supports cleaner reporting with exports, notes search, month-over-month insights, recurring charge summaries, and smarter vendor handling.

The mission is simple: turn messy receipts and invoices into organized, useful expense records that people can actually use for taxes, reports, and business decisions.
