Hey, fellow indie hackers! 👋
We’ve been building Awesome Social for a while now, and have now recently opened our app for paid beta testing. While it’s easy to post on groups or list your product beta testing sites, we are speculating ideas that generate best feedback loop for the development team.
For starters we have listed ourselves on Betalist and plan to do so with other beta listing sites.
- We wanted to ask what channel/community has worked best for you when collecting early feedback from beta testers.
- Also, what is the most productive way that you’ve collected a feedback on your product? Has it been cold email outreach to your current customers? Or does a well-placed feedback form derive more closed ended and focused answers.
- Lastly, what has been some strategies that either you or someone else you’ve seen have used to really make their beta testers as loyal fans.
what have been you experiences getting those early 100-500 users, and which platform has worked well for you.
I'll be happy to hear your experience and take on this.
Thanks 😁
