How to be successful on YouTube (my journey so far in 2020)

They say: "You should upload at least once / week if you want to succeed on YouTube."

So far in 2020...

In 21 days, I've recorded and uploaded 30 videos (including the ones which are going out today) and I got to 3.8k subscribers (+2k since Jan 1st).

Fun ride (but not easy though... 😆).

YouTube has high barriers to entry because creating videos is hard.

At the same time if you manage to start, once you reach a certain level growing becomes quite easy because the recommended videos section will get you a lot of new viewers for free (in fact a lot of podcasters use YouTube to grow their audience).

    Good luck!

once you reach a certain level

What's that level? I want to reach it! 😆

What things apart from posting have you been doing to help it grow?

    1. 1

Sharing and engagement - a lot!

Great work keep it up! Does any one have a concrete free guide/ebook on how to build a successful YouTube Channel?

      Thank you!

There are a lot of YouTube Channels which talk about this for free. If you want an ebook I'd recommend: YouTube Secrets - it's not free, but it's only $5 (so pretty cheap), but it has a LOT of useful stuff!

I've been following you since your 100 projects in 100 days challenge and you built a great audience on Twitter and you leverage that to grow your channel. I think if you already had an audience is much easier to grow your Youtube channel than if you don't have one

That's 100% true. My Twitter audience helped A LOT!

Thanks for following me! I appreciate that! 😃

Great, Do you have any plan to write an article about how to build an audience on Twitter like the article about building a YouTube channel?

          Maybe in the future, yes
