How to better encourage signups for the 30-day free trial?

I recently updated the landing page for my side hustle. I wanted to keep it fairly simple and encourage users to sign up for the 30-day trial. How'd I do? What could be better?

    I think you should add more screenshots, for example, your projects clients or invoice tabs. Maybe show an example invoice. Or maybe show time tracking in action. Basically, show me how cool your app is in order to make me feel compelled to try it out. Frankly, the dashboard screenshot by itself isn't compelling enough.

    Also, maybe include the signup form directly on the page. One less step to getting signing up.

    Last, in my opinion (and this is just opinion), you don't need a confirm password field. Yes, 1 in 100 people will mistype their password, but presumably they can just do a password reset.

    Hi Mark,
    A few comments:

    • The landing page seems a bit outdated, maybe use a templated no code site for your LP?
    • Your messaging - Aren't all time trackers and invoice systems simple and easy to use? What makes you unique? Try to narrow it down.
    • Start with hustling - do you have paying clients? Why are they paying you? Talk to your customers.
    • Ask for referrals - Is your product good enough to get me to recommend you to another user if I'm paying for it? If not, why?

      Thanks for the notes!

      I've found most time tracking and invoicing apps to be overly robust, but I get your point. Everyone has the same basic proposition. I'll have to put some serious thought in how to better position MD.

      Sign ups are in their infancy, so I'm not currently able to rely on customer feedback. I'll definitely lean on customer feedback once I'm able to do so.

        Speaking from personal experience - don't move another inch till you have direct contact with some of your customers - talking to your customers is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do.
        Find a way to have 5-10 paying customers and talk to them as much as they'll allow you.
