How to bring 1000 daily visitors?

We recently launched our saas marketplace, i.e. SaaStraQ - a one-stop platform that helps users discover & try different saas products in OneClick* (still under testing). Here we call saas vendors as partners.

Whenever I reach out to partners via FB groups to add their products, I get a good amount of traffic and partners sign up. But when I am not active in groups, the signups are very less.

I needed your help or suggestions in bringing good daily traffic to say a minimum of 1000 that includes a mix of SaaS partners and users (who are in search of marketing, design, development, productivity, collaboration tools).

    • The partners page needs a text review on for English correctness, examples:
      • "Add as many as products"
      • upto
      • "Till the time we don’t announce any pricing"
      • "Data speaks that more than 51%"
While I'm not a native English speaker, it's just doesn't broadcast quality.

While I'm not sure I have an answer for the 1,000 daily visits

    • I'd think tracking partners and potential users separately might make sense, as they should be marketed to differently, use different pages and features and have different value.
    • So for example for partners you might target list of released products with some timing, like producthunt and indiehackers and such.
    • For actual users you might still use the same sites but in reverse, paid ads for search terms on google or target people who liked these pages and/or groups on facebook etc.
    • Possibly also content marketing around product compare sites for example, so someone comparing 6 mailing systems, here you can try them all with one signup (If I understood what the service actually is)

    Hi Ranvijay,

As @hatkyinc said, some clarity in your messaging would be a good first step. From looking at the home page and the partner landing page, it's hard to tell what the service does without reading in between the lines.

As for driving traffic, I'm a huge fan of inbound marketing with content. Getting a resource center up would be my priority. Map the content with different stages of the sales funnel for each stakeholder. It'll take some time before the content starts to naturally rank, but its the best method for the consistent, hands-off growth you're looking for.

While you wait for your content to rank, you can use outreach techniques. Make lists of semi-qualified leads from Facebook, LinkedIn, ProductHunt, etc. Then, create an email sequence and track performance using a CRM software.

I know it's a lot of work, but it's worth it.

If you have any questions, feel free to pick my brain.

    Good luck.

      Hi @johnblust,

Thanks for the feedback. I would love to know what would you say about the service if you look at both the pages separately.

      1. 1

I wouldn't be a very source of user research because I knew what I was walking into before I clicked. Also, I'm not your target audience so my opinion doesn't really matter.

I think you would be well served interviewing your current users and getting their impressions. Then, you can use their input to rework the copy on your landing pages.

        Cheers,
        John

Do you only get traffic from FB? What about other social networks?

I am not active enough on other channels except the three most active saas groups on Facebook.

But the challenge is traffic from facebook is based on regular interactions and community participation. If the thread is being discussed heavily, you end up getting good traffic for the day.

Then little or no traffic, as other threads might be attracting more engagements.
