So basically, I'm just a computer science student, and something is bothering me.
If I have an idea, how do I start building it and shape my idea into a fine product ( website, app, or anything else.) I have some basic knowledge in the backend(One aspect of development), but My projects are nowhere near these professional Companies. So how do you guys shape your idea? What steps do you follow? Please enlighten me and help me understand product development better. Any type of response would be appreciated. Would love to learn from you guys or maybe work with you to get a better understanding of things.
Get started. Start with a hello word app and then add one field and a save button.
I have created basic Projects, like shopapp-django.herokuapp.com, But they are not products that real-life people can use. So how do other founders roll out their product in the market, what is the investment in Developing the product, and what is the process?
Ok. Your first problem is finding a problem to solve... Welcome to IndieHackers! Most people here have that exact problem.
One way to go is to get out into the real world and talk to people, especially people running organisations small and large. Ask them about their pain points. In your case you can talk to college administrators. Family friends who run businesses or departments would also be good. Also ask each person if they know anyone else worth talking to... Ideally you find someone who would pay to get their problem solved.
You could update your progress on Indiehackers. I will follow you....

Also ignore anyone who has a "business idea" unless they have a budget to pay for development. You will find as a developer everyone has a business idea they want developed for free.
Sales are the hard part of any business....
Hey, Steve. Thank you so much for this valuable advice. I'll surely be in touch. May be I could learn things from you
