Most effective productivity method I’ve been using?
Building my second brain! 🧠
Here’s how:
TLDR: check the video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1Xd5q6DzGc
I quickly add new stuff to my second brain and look at it later to focus on the now.
I’m using Notion web/app + Notion Clipper to save links, videos, and other resources quickly.
I’m literally storing all of my ideas and content, so I can revisit and reuse it later on for new inspiration.
(e.g., creating a YouTube video).
By writing things down, like notes from a book, I learn quicker, and I can always look back on my notes.

I'm in the process of finishing up a video about how I'm tackling this using Clover. It's similar to Notion in a few ways, but the addition of a virtual whiteboard is a total game-changer for me. I love seeing how other people think so I can make my own process better, so thank you for sharing!
Cool video! Building a second brain was one of my last year's resolutions. Even though I am a big Notion fan one of the apps that really helped me was https://logseq.com/ which acts as a daily journal.
I always write everything down, thanks for this.
I've been trying many note taking solutions, but things are moving so fast in the world that I feel the utility of storing something that was relevant today and might not be tomorrow is not there. The most useful so far has been FigJam in Figma, as you can build shared schemas to instruct the future designs from brainstorming meetings.
Can you share some examples of situations where notes have really come back to help?
I love Notion AND I love working with a second brain system like you do. Video was helpful! :)
