How to build in public?
A lot of indie hackers are building in public and sharing their progress, scpecially in twitter.
Wanted to know what are the things that you guys share openly and what you don't. I am looking forward to build my new project in public so tips and opinions will be helpful.
For me, I'm sharing when I hit milestones.
I'm not sure how many people actually read it, but nice to have somewhere to keep a journey log.
Anything that happens ordinarily day-to-date won't be added to my indiehack's timeline here.
I actually build my projects in public by sharing my learning everyday as a founder and what it looks behind the scenes on Twitter.
The best part is you get to also know other amazing makers engaging with your journey.
I realized that it would be great if makers could share it in a timeline format and I am working on https://www.astramind.io/ which helps makers building SaaS and B2B products to build in public and also find potential customers.

Even I am curious about the best ways to share openly. I maintain a changelog for thursday.social. But do want to expand to twitter threads. I've known people to also use makerlog and reddit, though unsure how to start.
I like to share different features or updates that I'm adding to inspectflow.io landing page or product. For example, I have recently been sharing my progress on building a feedback widget to collect feedback from website visitors for my landing page @sagunsh
Haven’t done it myself but I’ve seen people share all types of milestones including financial, user growth and new features to name a few.
