The most important thing when you build a new project, business, and community on the internet is that you continue to do you; meaning, don’t pivot your original “goal” of “having fun” as that’s why the first 1,000 decided to subscribe to you!

Instead, find different ways to engage them, include them, make them feel part of the larger story that’s being built.

Going from 0 subscribers to 1,000 subscribers takes nothing more than one single, repetitive behavior: Hitting the publish button.

You upload your first video and then you don’t stop, even and especially if you really love doing it. Stay the course and the internet will reward you. It’s kind of magical that way. But, the moment you become a slave to it, then, game over.

So, don’t do that.
